Senior photos are something I really enjoy doing. Especially when I know the senior. I’ve known Megan since before she was born. I was friends with both her mom and dad growing up. Their family is very involved with the fire company, as is mine.
Megan was one of our senior models this year. We had a fun shoot with her in the spring and she came back in the fall for her “real” session.
I love when the kids want to go somewhere different for their senior photos. Especially when it’s some place that means something to them. Megan wanted to go to her grandmother’s house. There’s a lot of land around the house and some really cool places to shoot. Megan’s mom, sister and puppy came with us. As we were shooting, they were all commenting about how they used to swing on this swing, or how they used to hang out here or play in the barn. It helps to make the images even more special.
When they want to add their hobbies, sports or other things personal to them, even better. Megan is a volunteer fireman. She also loves to hunt. We did some photos with her fire equipment as well as with her rifle. The rifle was checked for bullets before we started. Safety first!! Especially when it’s me that’s on this end of it!
Megan is such a smiley fun person with such a good heart. I know she is going to do good things as she gets older. If you are looking to have senior pictures done, give me a call! While you are here, leave some comments! I’d love to know if you are really reading.
