Giving Back

Giving Back

I believe that everyone should give back in some way. We have so many things to be thankful for every single day. There are many people out there who are not as lucky as us even though sometimes it doesn’t feel like we are the lucky ones.

I’ve always given a gift certificate for any raffle or tricky tray that anyone has asked me to donate.

I also have certain events and charities that I like to help out by donating my photo booth. Or I might just show up and photograph it. I can give a list of all of the events/places that we’ve donated our time to, but it really would be a huge list!

I photograph dogs for a couple local rescues so they can put quality images of the animals on pet finder. I do think that quality images that help show a dog or cat’s personality will help them get adopted faster. Plus, I love to play with the puppies, so it’s fun for me!

I was also one of the founding members and President of Girls Night Out for eight years. Each May, we held an event that raises money for local organizations to help local people. In the past we have raised money for the American Cancer Society, Cancertacular, Camp Bravehearts, Abilities 21, CONCERN, Kid’s Peace, The ARC and Make A Wish. I am very proud of this organization and what we have been able to do with it. If you would like to read more about it, please visit their  website.

All I ask is that me and my work be respected. If I help you or your charity, please know my business name and say it correctly when you are giving me credit for being there and helping you. Use me later on when you have personal photography needs, or share my number with your friends and family if they need a photographer. After all, without paying clients, I won’t have a business to donate from. Please share with your friends your experience with me! I can use all the referrals I can get! In fact, head over to google and give me a review. It will help me in the search engine rankings.
