This weekend was full of photo booth fun! Friday night took us to the Moscow Elementary School for their annual Halloweenorama. This is always such a fun event, both for us and for the kids. The kids get to go trick or treating in the cafeteria, then come into the gym for some music, dancing and photo booth. There are over 300 kids that show up for this event and the PTA really makes it fun for them. The kids have the whole gym to run, dance and just let out all of their energy!
I loved seeing all of the different costumes on the kids. Some were VERY creative!
Sunday took us to Wilkes Barre for Geisinger’s NICU party. This was a party for any baby that was a patient of the NICU in the last 5 years. They had the families bring in pictures of the kids then and now. So many kids who fought to be here. I asked them how many patients they had over the 5 years. They told me they sent out 1000 invitations! That’s a lot of families and a lot of babies they helped. It was touching to see the moms come in and hug the nurses who had taken care of their babies.
There was food, music and bounce houses for the kids as well as the photo booth. The kids had a blast. I think the families really loved that Geisinger did this for them. I’m sure it was just as nice for the nurses. They get to see how those special babies are doing. I’m sure there are many that are near and dear to their hearts.
The families had a great time in the booth and at the party in general. Thank you Geisinger for having us be a part of your celebration!
