Boudoir photos are something that I love to do. I love how the women come in a little nervous, but by the time they leave, they are totally comfortable posing in front of the camera.
As with all sessions, I always ask before I post any photos. I do give options with boudoir. Face only, body only, don’t post anything, etc. It’s all up to the client. Your privacy is means more to me than using the photos for advertising. What happens in the studio, stays in the studio. With that being said, here is one of my Valentine’s Day sessions.
Michelle came in to do some boudoir photos right before Valentine’s Day.
One of the first things I ask is, show me what you’ve brought. I always give suggestions to potential clients so I like to see what they have when they come. She brought quite a few outfits, and some really cool shoes! I can;t walk in heels, but I love a nice pair of sexy heels!
I sent Michelle off to makeup with Monica while I figured out what outfits we were going to do in what order and what poses I would need for those outfits. Not every pose works with every body type and I like to see who I’m posing before I try to figure out what we are going to be doing. I love when people come in with some ideas that they’ve found on the internet, as long as they remember that they are not that person, so they will not look exactly like that. So many things play into the way an image looks; body type and shape, hair style and length, lighting, lens length and so much more!
I think I found some that fit Michelle. Leave some comments and let her know how great she did!
